Livingston Parish Public Schools
Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) Program provides services to developmentally
disabled preschool children between the ages of 3 and 5 and support to their
families. The goal is to maximize the child's ability to function
independently.

The length of
a child's day and number of days in attendance are IEP options.
Livingston Parish has seventeen ECSE classes. The classes are located at
Albany Lower Elementary, Eastside Elementary, Frost School, Gray's Creek
Elementary, Levi Milton Elementary, Live Oak Elementary, Seventh Ward
Elementary, Springfield Elementary and Walker Elementary. ECSE students from
all over the parish attend these centrally located classes. Transportation
is provided. In addition, four itinerant teachers provide ECSE
services.
